‘Locally Sourced Goodness’

The above was the title of the first article about our farm in our local newspaper, the Iowa Falls Times Citizen. The story was the cover article on the Summer Ag Special.

Here are a few excerpts from the article:

“We put our love and care into ensuring the health and well-being of the animals we raise, as we believe this translates into high quality food for our customers” Sarah said. We also love to cook and understand the challenges of getting home-cooked meals on the table with a busy schedule. So, we have put together recipes, cooking tips, and resources on our website for using our meat in quick and delicious meals. Our care extends to the well-being of our customers, and we know that home-cooked meals with high quality whole foods is one of the healthiest things you can do for your family. So we want to not only be our community’s source for beef and pork, but also a source of inspiration for more delicious home cooked meals.”

Above all, the Gilbert’s want to share their food with everybody. Whether it’s through their beef and pork or sharing receipes, informing people about their naturally-raised mehods.

“Food should taste great, and we know that the way we care for the land and our animals translates into delicious beef and pork.” John said. “We really appreciate the support we’ve received from the community so far, and we are very proud of the quality of product we offer.”

Thanks to Corey Meints and the Times Citizen for putting this article together and featuring our farm and business. For those with a subscription, the full article can be accessed here.
